Join us for a joyful
Shabbat in the green hills of Sonoma County.
It’s a chance to connect with old friends, and meet new folks in a gorgeous setting.

This year, we’ll learn from each other in a community-driven program. The retreat committee will reach out to everyone who registers to contribute to a Limmud-style program -
some sample offerings could be: 
yoga, hiking, prayer, text study, and arts + crafts, plus a ropes course, swimming and kids’ activities!

Camp Newman has been entirely rebuilt since the Santa Rosa fires, and now features

beautifully upgraded housing options including cabins, camping and luxurious new hotel-style housing
-brand new fire pits
- stunning program rooms with views of beautiful Sonoma County
- kosher food
- highly accessible layouts

You will be asked to either pay in full or pay within three installments (complete payment before the retreat).
In order to complete your registration, you will be asked to pay your first installment.

A limited amount of financial support may be available for those who would otherwise not be able to attend.

We chose Camp Newman in response to feedback from the congregation. It offers a wide variety of housing options from the very rustic to the extra lux! Accommodations throughout the camp provide varying degrees of accessibility, so please be specific with your particular needs.

The prices are all-inclusive covering meals, program and accommodations. Some room types include linens, read the descriptions for more detail.

These prices are for Netivot Shalom members - per person, non-members are warmly welcomed and there is a non-member surcharge.

Types of Accommodations:
1. Camping (Tents or RVs): Bring your own tent, sleeping bag, etc. Restrooms and showers available. Shmira (night watch for sleeping children) may not be available at the camping site. The camping area is a 5-10 minute walk from the center of camp. No power available.

2. Cabins:  Each half cabin has 8-12 bunk beds on each of two halves – the cabins can be shared by two families, and you can let us know on the registration form if there’s a family you’d like to share with.
Cabins include a bathroom with multiple stalls and showers and heating/air conditioning. Bring your own linens or sleeping bags. Cabins may be close to the center of camp or a 5-10 minute uphill walk. Shmira (night watch for sleeping children) provided.

3. Motels (near Village 7) or Infirmary (Wellness Lodge)
  • Motel-type accommodation with private bathrooms. Most rooms have two double beds. Some also have small fridges.The motel is a 5-10 minute gentle uphill walk from the main part of camp (near Village 7 on the map).
  • In addition to the motel, the Infirmary (called the "Wellness Lodge on the map), is a good option for those with moderate accessibility needs. It is closer to the center of camp and includes A/C and  similar sleeping layouts  to the motel with access to a shared bathroom.
  • Bring your own linens for either type of accommodation. (Linens can be provided for a $25 fee).

4.  Lodge:  Brand new! Luxurious hotel-style rooms in the center of camp. Rooms include linens, private bathrooms, heating/air conditioning. Most rooms have two queen beds. Accessible rooms available. Shmira (night watch for sleeping children provided). - LIMITED # Available

There will be an option for older children who want to bunk with each other and a counselor. Let us know if you are interested.
