Thank you for renewing your membership at Congregation Netivot Shalom. We appreciate your generous contributions of time, talent, and financial support. Every pledge helps Netivot Shalom serve its members, and maintain our community. Every congregant who makes a membership pledge in any amount is a valued member of our Congregation.
Our standard membership pledges shown here are set so that we are able to meet our budgetary needs each year. We are not charging a separate building or security assessment this year, but encourage you to consider pledging more than the applicable amount in our Beyond Dues campaign. This will help others who cannot afford to pay their full dues assessment, and help us meet our budget goals. NOTE: This is just a price chart. You will make your selection in the section below this one. 1. Two Adult Household (including children under the age of 25 living at home) Two adults, at least one 35 years of age or older -- $3,600 Two adults, both under 35 years of age -- $864 Two adults, both of whom are full-time students -- $360 2. One Adult Household (including children under the age of 25 living at home) One adult, who has reached the age of 35 -- $1,800 One adult, under the age of 35 -- $432 One adult, who is a full-time student -- $180 3. Associate Membership (member of another synagogue) - Two adults -- $1,800 One adult -- $900 4. Out of Town Memberships -- $360 per adult For friends of the congregation, including former members, and relatives of members, who live outside the Bay Area. Out of town members are listed in the roster but do not receive High Holy Day passes unless they make special arrangements. 5. New Members - 1/2 of the applicable category above 6. It’s Complicated We know people often don’t fit neatly into categories. If your situation is not easily described by one of the categories listed above, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are eager to have you as members, and we consider special circumstances as well as financial hardships that require non-standard memberships. Please note: all requests for dues adjustment, and all information provided is kept strictly confidential.
Once you "Submit" at the bottom and move onto the payment page, you will have the option to select one of the following payment plans:
* Bill to account - the amount pledged will be billed to your account (If you would like to pay by check, please use this option)
* Pay by credit card - a convenience fee will be added
* Pay by Echeck (ACH, automatic deductions from your bank account; no convenience fee) - If you can’t pay your pledge in one lump-sum payment, we ask that you pay either by credit card or by Echeck, as that greatly lowers our administrative burden. If you have not selected a membership level due to extenuating financial circumstances, you will still be able to submit the form with a zero total on this form. Proceed with filling out the rest of the form and complete the separate Dues Arrangement Form.
*PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. THIS IS NOT ASKING IF YOU ARE ROLLING OVER LAST YEAR'S PLEDGE. YOU STILL NEED TO MAKE A PLEDGE FOR THIS YEAR ON THIS FORM OR A DUES ARRANGEMENT FORM (see above). THIS IS A QUESTION ABOUT FUTURE DUES PLEDGES.* To make dues payment easier in the future, we ask you to choose one of the following options. These will allow your dues charges to roll over from year to year, so no renewal will be necessary.
By making this Dues Pledge, I acknowledge that I am assisting Congregation Netivot Shalom and our community to strive and grow, now and in the future.
Membership Dues and Beyond Dues Pledge: By choosing either the credit card or Echeck payment option, I agree to allow Netivot Shalom to continue to charge my account on a monthly basis for my total pledge amount until I instruct them otherwise, and that my membership can be renewed from year to year without having to fill out a new form. I also understand that if the amount of the withdrawal changes (such as with a dues increase), my payment plan will be updated automatically. I understand that I can terminate this dues payment arrangement following completion of payment for the year by providing written notice to Netivot Shalom.
