We are thrilled that your child(ren) will be participating in Ketzev this year!

During this time of sheltering-in-place and uncertainty regarding meeting in person and in large groups, we’re dividing our Ketzev curriculum, for students in kindergarten through grade 5, into Jewish studies and synagogue skills. In an ideal world, these two components would flow seamlessly from one to the other since both are necessary for a rich Jewish learning experience. We are not currently living in an ideal world, therefore, each will meet in separate sections and small group cohorts.

For Ketzev, the Jewish studies component will be comprised of five units, each focused on a different Jewish value. There will be a take-home kit of materials to enhance the experiential learning and bridge at-home activities with online group mifgashim (meetings).

The synagogue skills component will take place in small "hevruta-style" groups of approximately 5 students. These small groups will enable focused learning on Hebrew and prayer for short durations of time via zoom.

Jewish studies and Hebrew will require the students to do some work on their own from home in-between virtual sessions with their teachers and friends.

We will also offer special programming for holidays throughout the school year and some special Shabbat experiences.

$2,400 per child per year for non-members
$2,000 per child per year for Netivot Shalom members

A non-refundable deposit of $200 due with this registration and will go towards your tuition payment.

You have an option to set up a payment schedule. If you prefer to pay by check, mail it to the office. We do not currently have a way to bring a payment in person.

SCHOLARSHIP DONATION

Tuition charges do not cover the full cost of our education programming. Please consider an additional donation to support Jewish learning for youth at CNS. My payment will include an additional donation to the Youth Education Fund.

Agreement for participation in Congregation Netivot Shalom's Religious School:

Students are enrolled and contracted for the time period from September 8, 2020 through May 20, 2022. By completing this registration and making a deposit, I understand that my family is responsible for the entire tuition and that it will be paid in full by February 2021.

Netivot Shalom reserves the right to void this contract at the discretion of the Rabbi in consultation with the Administrator. In such instances, the unused portion of any prepaid fees may be refunded.
