7:00 Feb. 8 - V'zot Yisrael film discussion of "Optimists"

Join V'zot Ysrael for a discussion of the film "Optimists" via zoom.  

It is likely several members of the original garin who live in the Bay Area will participate.

The film the "Optomists" was streamed by the East Bay Jewish Film Festival

through Jan. 30, and is probably no longer available.  It is a documentary about 

the founding of Kibbutz Ketura in the Negev and the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies.  

It is narrated by Mandy Patinkin.

Netivot members Debbie Graudenz and Rom Rosenblum, ז"ל,

were members of the garin who founded Kibbutz Ketura in 1973.

The film includes video of the garin in 1973 at Young Judaea camp

Tel Yehudah in New York.
