Explore a selection of poems addressing Yamim Noraim themes, particularly forgiveness and repentance, including those of Rabbi Wax and others. The workshop will include a writing exercise, along with other take-home prompts offered for poets and poets-to-be.
Rabbi Pamela Wax is the author of the recently-published Walking the Labyrinth , a book of poetry exploring her journey through grief following her brother’s death by suicide. Pam’s award-winning poetry has been published in many international journals. Her second book of poetry, Starter Mothers, will be published in 2023. She recently retired after 19 years as staff rabbi at Westchester Jewish Community Services in New York, where she ran the Jewish spiritual healing center.
