On Wednesday, I shared the sad news about the sudden passing of our member, Wayne Pickus, who died on April 2. We send our sincere condolences to his beloved wife and son, Margaret Dorfman and Simon Pickus. In addition to being a wonderful husband and father, Wayne gave much to the Netivot Shalom community, serving as a board member, a member of the Spring Gala committee, the Security and Access Committee, and he was a regular at Wednesday morning minyan. He was a kind, gentle, and caring soul, and he will be greatly missed. May his memory be for a blessing. The funeral service will take place at Congregation Netivot Shalom on Tuesday, April 8 at 2pm. The cemetery service will be held privately. Shiva minyanim will take place at Margaret's home on Wednesday, April 9 and Thursday April 10.
