After-Kiddush learning this Shabbat, January 22 and February 26th at 12:45pm
(in-person/outdoors only at CNS, not on Zoom)
Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and, and the Teachings of Plants, is a beautiful and inspiring book by botanist and member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Robin Wall Kimmerer. Join us for an exploration of how the indigenous wisdom offered in this book intersects with Jewish wisdom about the natural world and our place in it. Reading the book in advance of these sessions is encouraged but not required. If you have the book, please bring it with you. Please try to read this short chapter in advance.
